I met Julie on a September afternoon while showing homes to another client that I had at the time. She drove up and asked if I was the listing agent of the property, I told her that I wasn’t and that I had just finished showing the property. She began to tell me that she was in town visiting her grand baby for the weekend and that she and her husband, Bruce, were considering relocating from Texas to San Diego to be closer to their only grandchild. We exchanged info and both went our ways that afternoon.

A few weeks later after being in touch back and forth, Julie was on her way back to San Diego to visit her grandchild, this time her husband Bruce followed along. Julie expressed to me that she was ready to begin her house hunt with me and was determined to find her and her husband’s San Diego home that weekend. Her priority request was that the property had to be within a 5-mile radius from her son and grandchild, all the rest fell into place…3 bedrooms, safe neighborhood with a park.

Our search began on a Friday morning and continued into Saturday, by Saturday afternoon we had found the perfect home for Julie and Bruce, and by Monday morning after a little negotiation, they officially opened escrow. After a quick few weeks, Julie and Bruce closed escrow just in time to spend the holidays in San Diego with their grandson.
