Meet David

David Castillo has always been a champion of the community and of helping others. Although he’s had an extensive career in sales, he has never seen himself as a salesperson but as a valuable resource for his clients, teammates, and community. David loves helping buyers, sellers, and investors reap the rewards of real estate — he emphasizes patience and aligns his actions with his clients’ goals throughout the process.

 

A San Diego native, David attended San Diego State University where he studied criminal justice. He had planned to become a federal agent with the Department of Homeland Security but shifted gears after becoming a father in 2011. Launching a career as a development leader in the health and wellness industry, David spent the next five years leading over 400 nationwide salespeople and learning the value of building genuine relationships and enriching his personal growth. When he decided to switch from selling health products to selling homes, David relied on his previous experience, research, and agent friend’s honest advice to ensure the move was worthwhile. With his first escrow in 2015, David became hooked on helping people achieve homeownership.

 

While David is 100% committed to his clients, he is equally enthusiastic about supporting new and aspiring agents. He’s deeply devoted to his family and loves spending time with his son, Jacob, including watching Jacob play baseball. David enjoys the outdoors and the gym, where he unplugs and connects with other fathers, husbands, and business owners.
